A big stage, hot lights, booming sound and a drum riser... making it even harder for Kyle
to hoist himself up during the finale of Audiac Arrest! Promo West was a lot of fun and we
thank you all for coming out. We got to see a lot of friends and also make some new ones.
Hopefully we'll see you all very soon.
Over the course of the next month, we'll be taking some time off from the stage. We'll
spend this time writing and demoing new songs. Hopefully all the hard work will pay off
with some more crowd pleasers and new directions for us to explore and enjoy. We'll keep
you informed.
Our first video, courtesy of Breaking Waves Productions should be completed and released
by the first of the year. So as we said before, check back often for a deeper look into a
Broken Hearted Valentine!

Thanks to all of you who celebrated Halloween with us. It was fun, although next year we
won't pick costumes that are so hot up there under the lights.
We're proud to announce a few upcoming gigs...
On November 8th, we'll be playing Bernie's with Twin Cam, the Patsy's and Johnny Nobody
from Buffalo, NY! The show starts at ten so enjoy your Friday night Happy Hour then join
us in the black basement punk club.
We're also very proud to announce that we will be playing our first show at Promo West
Pavilion on November 14th at 8pm. It's one of the top venues for larger touring acts and
multiband local bills. It has one of the best sound systems in the city and holds nearly
1,500 people! Following us on the bill will be Outrageous Orange and the Johnson Brothers.
It should be a great night of rock 'n' roll, so gather your friends and join us... we'll
do our best to rock the rafters!

Happy Halloween. Yes, we know it's a little early but we just couldn't wait.
Halloween is truly a rock 'n' roll holiday. No dressing up in your Sunday best, no
Hallmark greetings... just a night of costumes, debauchery and unbridled revelry!
To celebrate this event, we'll be having our first annual Halloween Bash! Ha, first
annual, yes, we're already planning next year's event! On Saturday, October 26th we'll
play at the Scarlet & Grey Cafe with our friends Rookie. Make sure you wear a costume
and be prepared to have a good time... and if you make a fool of yourself, make sure your
costume can conceal your true identity.

We're back from the road. After a weekend's worth of rocking, drinking, seeing some great
bands and meeting some exciting people, it's back to the daily grind. Although, some
good news has come out of it... we're making a video.
In the coming months we will be planning and shooting a music video for our song, Broken
Hearted Valentine. Thanks to Breaking Waves Productions for offering us another medium to
try and express the glory and frustration of a broken heart.
Stay in touch, it should be completed shortly and available right here!

The Everyday Heroes are heading to "Nash-Vegas!" We feel fortunate to be
selected to showcase our music at the Nashville New Music Conference. In our opinion this
is the top industry event in our region. Several record labels informed us that they would
be attending our show because we were one of only two Ohio bands to be selected by the top
three conferences in our region.
We were also asked by 2NMC if we would like to have our song "Broken Hearted
Valentine" included on the conference compilation. We feel lucky to be one of only 20
bands selected to be on this CD out of the 400 showcased artists!
We will be playing at the Slow Bar in Nashville, Tennessee on October 10th, 2002. For more
information on this event, please click on the icon to the left. If you will be in
Nashville, let us know or just stop by and say hello. Please go to our Show Page for times and directions to this event.

Music industry showcases are the perfect place for bands to meet new fans and to network
with other bands, booking agents, managers, A&R staff, and other music industry
professionals. Unfortunately some very good bands have toiled for several years without
ever getting accepted to play in one. We feel fortunate because we have just been informed
that we have been selected to play in not one, but two of these music industry
showcases.
Our band's first official showcase will be at the Third Annual Midwest Music Conference
& Film Festival in Lexington, KY on August 23, 2002.
On September 26, 2002, we will be performing in a showcase with bands, from all over the
world; for fans, industry professionals and media alike. An estimated 9,000+ attendees
will pack the venues in downtown Cincinnati, OH.
For more information on these events, please click on the icons to the left. If you will
be in one of these areas, stop by and say hello. Please go to our Show Page for times and directions to these events.

For those of you that missed it, Comfest was a blast. We all had a lot of fun and made
some new friends. We also gave away a free sampler CD including two of our songs, Broken
Hearted Valentine and Po-Go, along with one song each from Fenster, Outrageous Orange, The
Plaster Saints and the Woosley Band.
Lady Veliquette, a reporter from City-Pulse.org, came down to
review a certain band that played Comfest for her East Lansing music publication. Instead
she wrote about three kids playing rock'n'roll on the jazz stage. We feel fortunate that
she liked our music enough to scrap her plans and feature us in the article.

January has been a busy month for us. We're very thankful for Mike Johnson's time and
support in the studio. We finished up the last song on the record, Audiac Arrest;
recorded in the friendly confines of the Dream Depot. It was then promptly and
professionally mixed and mastered by Cal Moore of Immortal Productions, also in Akron,
Ohio. It sounds amazing, better than we ever imagined! It's great to finally hear ideas
become music.
Soon you'll be able to hear it too. We finished the artwork, with the help of Heather
Mitchell, and will be producing millions for the world to hear... well, maybe not
millions, but enough. Check back soon and we'll inform you of the release date. Until
then, realize that rock'n'roll is a state of mind.

It's the holiday season and we've just received the best possible Christmas gift... a
chance to make our own record! Mike Johnson, of West Akron Recorders, will be recording a
few of our songs in his studio. We chose Mike to record our first EP from several
candidates from as close as right here in Columbus, OH, to as far away as Nashville, TN.
He has formerly worked with the Twist-Offs and The Raspberries ("Forget about Eric
Carmen singing Hungry Eyes in Dirty Dancing... this is when he was rock'n'roll!"
-Zac).
Keep checking back... we'll have news soon of a release date and any other exciting news!
