Massive amounts of classic rock at a tender age is what has turned me
into the musical queezonart that I am now. From the early age of eight or nine, THE bands
for me were among the Led Zeppelin, the Who, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles of course...
Mostly bands that were involved in the English music scene of the swingin' 60's. Among my
wax, there was even an amount of rock weirdo's like Jethro Tull ( minus Aqualung ), Justin
Hayward and Rick Wakeman. I know. I know. Kids do strange things. But these tendencies
have evolved to what has become, what I like to call, a more sophisticated musical
spectrum. Now it has become bands such as Sloan, Superdrag, Oasis, the Charlatans UK and
the Jam. But the old faves thrive with the new raves just fine.
Cut the crap. April of 2001, I answer an add looking for a drummer put up by one Zac
Szchamuszi... ( how do you spell it anyways?? ) I digress. We meet up ( I listen to
Quadrophenia on the way over ) and jam a bit on some rough originals. I see immediate
potential... Since then, the band also picked up a blonde Kennedy who is known by the
government as Kyle McKee. Immediately sparks fly all over the Szymusiak basement; Kyle
spits one bodacious loogie to put out the massive flames. We record an EP to show the
world our works, and now we Rock and Roll the American way full time. Work and Play are
equal confidants to the Everyday Heroes, something we hope will remain the same for a long
time.
